Last updated: 17 July 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at cyprusweddingsmagazine.com and all related content, features, and services (together, the “Website” or “Services”), operated by CWM Cyprus Weddings Magazine Ltd (“CWM”, “Cyprus Weddings Magazine”, “we”, “our” or “us”).

By accessing or using the Website, submitting content to us, applying for a business listing, or otherwise engaging with our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Website.

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our separate Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 By using the Website you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or are using the Website under the supervision of a parent or guardian, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

1.2 If you are using the Website on behalf of a business (for example, applying for a directory listing or advertising), you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Definitions

2.1 In these Terms:

  • “Content” means any text, images, video, questionnaires, or other material submitted to, or displayed on, the Website.
  • “Real Wedding Submission” means a wedding submitted for potential editorial feature.
  • “Vendor” or “Business” means a wedding-industry supplier applying for or holding a directory listing or advertising placement.
  • “User”, “you”, or “your” means any person accessing or using the Website.
  • “User Content” means any Content submitted by a User, including Real Wedding Submissions, vendor profile content, comments, or correspondence.

3. Changes to These Terms

3.1 We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, or business practices. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice on the Website.

3.2 Continued use of the Website following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

4. Changes to the Website

4.1 We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website or Services at any time, without liability, including editorial features, directory functionality, or advertising placements.

5. Eligibility and Account Registration

5.1 Certain features of the Website (such as business directory applications or venue onboarding) may require you to provide accurate registration or application information.

5.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials associated with your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

5.3 We may suspend or terminate an account at our discretion in accordance with Section 20 (Termination).

6. Editorial Content and Real Wedding Submissions

6.1 Submission of a wedding for editorial consideration is entirely voluntary and free of charge. By submitting a Real Wedding Submission, you represent and warrant that: (a) you have authority to submit the material; (b) all necessary permissions have been obtained from the couple, photographers, and any other individuals featured or referenced; and (c) the material does not infringe the rights of any third party.

6.2 Submission does not guarantee publication. Editorial selection, timing, and presentation remain at CWM’s sole discretion. We may edit submitted material for length, clarity, accuracy, and house style.

6.3 We are under no obligation to publish, retain, or return any submitted material, whether or not it is selected for publication.

7. Business Directory Listings

7.1 Businesses may apply for inclusion in our directory. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to accept, reject, or remove any listing at our discretion, including where submitted information is inaccurate, misleading, or in breach of these Terms.

7.2 Businesses are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of information submitted for a listing, and must promptly notify us of any changes required.

7.3 Where a listing is provided on a paid basis, additional commercial terms (including fees, payment schedule, and renewal) will be agreed separately and, in the event of any conflict, those commercial terms will prevail over these Terms in respect of the specific listing arrangement.

7.4 We may display directory content across the Website and associated marketing channels, including social media and newsletters, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Venue Onboarding and Vendor Accounts

8.1 Venues and other vendors participating in onboarding agree to provide accurate and current information for their profile, including pricing, capacity, and availability details, and to update such information as it changes.

8.2 We are not responsible for booking arrangements, contracts, or disputes between couples and vendors listed on the Website. Any such arrangements are strictly between the couple and the vendor concerned.

9. Advertising and Partnerships

9.1 Advertising and partnership placements are subject to separate commercial terms agreed between CWM and the advertiser, which will govern matters such as fees, placement specifications, and campaign duration. These Terms apply to the extent not inconsistent with those commercial terms.

9.2 We reserve the right to refuse, remove, or amend any advertising content that we consider, in our discretion, to be inaccurate, unlawful, offensive, or inconsistent with the editorial tone of the Website.

10. User Content and Licence Grant

10.1 By submitting any User Content (including photographs, questionnaires, testimonials, or profile material) you grant CWM a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute that Content across the Website and associated marketing channels (including social media, email newsletters, and print or digital promotional material), for editorial and promotional purposes, with appropriate credit where customary.

10.2 You retain ownership of your copyright in User Content submitted; this licence does not transfer ownership.

10.3 You warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary rights, consents, and permissions (including from photographers, couples, and any individuals depicted) to grant this licence, and that the Content does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.

10.4 You agree to indemnify CWM against any claims, damages, or costs arising from a breach of the warranties in this Section 10.

10.5 Requests regarding the use, correction, or removal of specific User Content should be directed to admin@cyprusweddingsmagazine.com. We will consider such requests but are not obliged to remove published editorial content, particularly where doing so would compromise the integrity of the editorial archive (see our Privacy Policy, Section 43, for retention details).

11. Intellectual Property Rights

11.1 Except for User Content, all content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, design, layout, and software, is owned by or licensed to CWM and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

11.2 You may view, download, and print material from the Website for your own personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, or exploit any part of the Website for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

11.3 “Cyprus Weddings Magazine” and “CWM” and associated logos are trademarks or trading names of CWM Cyprus Weddings Magazine Ltd. You must not use these marks without our prior written consent.

12.1 You must not use the Website to:

  • Submit false, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content;
  • Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party;
  • Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, our systems, or other users’ accounts;
  • Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Website using automated means without our consent;
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  • Use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms; or
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Website.

12.2 We reserve the right to remove any Content or restrict access to the Website in respect of any User who breaches this Section 12.

13.1 The Website may contain links to third-party websites, embedded content (such as Instagram posts or Google Maps), or references to third-party vendors and services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites or vendors.

13.2 Inclusion of a link or vendor listing does not imply endorsement. Your use of any third-party website or engagement with any listed vendor is at your own risk and subject to that third party’s own terms and policies.

14. Disclaimers

14.1 The Website and its Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

14.2 We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information published (including vendor pricing, availability, or capacity) is accurate, current, or complete. Vendor and venue information is provided by third parties and should be independently verified before making booking or purchasing decisions.

14.3 Editorial content, features, and inspiration published on the Website reflect the views and recommendations of CWM at the time of publication and do not constitute professional, legal, or financial advice.

15. Limitation of Liability

15.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CWM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website or these Terms, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

15.2 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Website shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to CWM in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (€100).

15.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

16. Indemnification

16.1 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CWM, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your User Content; or (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

17. Privacy

17.1 Our collection, use, and protection of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Website you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

18. Cookies

18.1 The Website uses cookies and similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy and managed through our cookie consent tool. By continuing to use the Website in accordance with your cookie preferences, you consent to the use of cookies as described.

19.1 If you believe that Content on the Website infringes your copyright, please contact us at admin@cyprusweddingsmagazine.com with details of the material concerned, evidence of your rights, and the location of the material on the Website. We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include removal of the material.

20. Suspension and Termination

20.1 We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website, remove a directory listing, or decline to publish submitted Content, at our discretion, including where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in unlawful conduct, or submitted false or misleading information.

20.2 Where a paid listing or advertising arrangement is terminated for breach, no refund will be due in respect of the period following termination, without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to us.

20.3 Sections of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 10 to 17) shall continue to apply following termination.

21. Force Majeure

21.1 We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, labour disputes, internet or utility failures, or governmental action.

22. Assignment

22.1 We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, without your consent, provided your rights under these Terms are not materially diminished. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.

23. Severability

23.1 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

24. Entire Agreement

24.1 These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any separate commercial terms agreed for a specific listing, advertising placement, or partnership, constitute the entire agreement between you and CWM in relation to your use of the Website, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.

25. Waiver

25.1 Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
